The JEOL JSM-IT300LV – A leading edge Scanning Electron Microscope with the latest electron optics, processing software, high & low vacuum imaging Energy-Dispersive X-Ray spectroscopy (EDS) and touchscreen interface. Combined with one of the largest stages available (you can put a small pizza in the chamber) and our 40 inch HD display, you get an unrivaled view of your samples.

The PANalytical Aeris – The newest member of the PANanalytic X-Ray Defractometer family, the Aeris has the latest sensors and a Cobalt X-Ray source. Combined with PANanalytic’s leading HighScore and RoboRiet, you get unrivaled accuracy and data analysis.

The Advanced Multi-Technology Approach (XRD-Rietveld Method + SEM-EDS) can rapidly produce Quantitative Phase Analysis in weight percentages. It’s a powerful method for determining the quantities of crystalline and amorphous materials in multiphase mixtures.

The Brookhaven MicroBrook 2000LD – The latest design in laser particle sizing, capable of analyzing both wet and dry samples with a broad range of 20 nanometers to 850 microns, the 2000LD produces reliable and accurate results. The 2000LD uses both laser diffraction and high angle detection to assure the highest possible particle detection, sizing and count.

Experience matters when delivering accuracy. Our lead scientist, Yun Hiebert, holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering degree from Tianjin University of China. She has over 30 years of experience including 6 years in a research and development lab, 5 years of Quality Control supervisory experience for a leading dental material manufacturer and 2 years of material research in the coating and fuel cell industries. She has been operating scanning electron microscopes in materials analysis labs for more than 18 years and has a high level of professional skill with X-Ray Powder Refraction and Laser Particle Sizing.
